Faith Formation
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION Our Office of Faith Formation provides Religious Instruction to children in grades 1 through 8 who attend public schools. Through our Religious Education program, we seek to increase children’s awareness of the presence of God in their daily lives through Scripture, prayer and an appropriate curriculum that teaches Catholic doctrine necessary for children to become good, practicing Catholics. Our faith formation classes also prepare children for the Sacraments of the Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation. Religious Education classes are held on Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM. REGISTRATION For parents wishing to register their child for the new school year, please fill out the Registration Form. If you are registering a student new to our program, please also provide a copy of the student’s Baptismal Certificate. If your child is transferring from another Religious Education program or Catholic school, please also provide a letter from prior Religious Education program or school confirming number of years completed and any sacraments received.
